Who?
Hi. My name’s Sarah and I’m 18 from a town called Guildford in the South of England (pretty close to London).

I’m in my final year of college before I go to University and I study French, English Literature and History (hablo espanol tambien) and at university I plan to study Archeology and Anthropology - which sounds really weird and muddy - but it really isn’t. I’m so excited to learn more about different societies and cultures and THIS is where this blog comes in. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to travel widely, experiencing firsthand the diversity of cultures around the globe. I find it incredible to think that all over the world, there are people just like me, yet their culture makes them slightly different, in their beliefs, routines, languages and ideas of what it is that makes life wonderful - and despite all this there is still that feeling of unity. And so I am lucky enough to learn more about the human world during a gap year - before I head off to uni (Bristol or Exeter or Kent.. I’m still to decide.. I’m leaning towards Bristol but will keep you posted..) and so this blog is going to be where I record my musings and plans and to do lists and hopes and inspiration. Feel free to follow me if you wish to go on this journey with me. Or if you just like the pictures that I post every now and then. But be warned, I’m ridiculous with words, once I start typing I tend to go on for about a mile.

I like cuddles and mascara and cups of tea. I like rain on the roof at night time, thinking about magic, undiscovered places and live music. I love stories. I love life.
I tend to talk far too much.
